Maricopa's Independence Day celebration will take place at Pacana Park, 19000 N. Porter Rd. in Maricopa from 6 pm to 10 pm on July 4th. In observance of Independence Day, the City of Apache Junction will close all city offices on Friday, July 3rd.

Wickenburg's 38th Annual 4th Of July Celebration

The Town of Wickenburg is holding their 38th Annual 4th Of July Celebration at Sunset Park, located just past the airport in West Wickenburg. This family evening of fun is geared for relaxation and celebration of our nation's birthday. And yes, the admission is free. The activities begin at 7 pm. You may bring your own lawn chairs and blankets, but coolers &/or alcoholic beverages are not allowed.There will be a variety of local vendors, service clubs, and booths with merchandise and food to be purchased. Cops Who Care has coordinated the games and races for children and adults throughout the evening, with great entertainment throughout the evening. Independence Day Schedule For Casa Grande Offices and Services

City Of Casa Grande offices and services, with the exception of Emergency Services, will be closed on Friday July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day on Saturday, July 4th. The City Library will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th.Trash collection days will be affected as follows:Trash Collection for Thursday, July 2nd, has been moved to Wednesday, July 1st.Trash Collection for Friday, July 3rd, will be picked up on Thursday, July 2nd.Recycling Collection Thursday, July 2nd remains the same.Uncontained Trash Collection for the week began today, Monday, June 29th.The landfill will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, and reopen on Saturday, July 4th.

Celebrate The 4th Of July With A Baseball Game In Surprise

Scottsdale Grand Olde Fashioned Picnic

Join the Scottsdale Parks and Recreation for a Grande Olde Fashioned Picnic on July 4th, at the Scottsdale Stadium at 7408 E. Osborn Road on the Northeast corner of Drinkwater Boulevard and Osborn Road. They'll be writing letters to our servicemen and women and providing them with care packages. There will be games and crafts for the entire family. Bring your picnic dinner -- grills will be available. The picnic will be going on between 5 pm to 7 pm.

"Fire-Safe Fireworks" In Flagstaff

You can beat the heat on July 4th, by heading up to Flagstaff as they proudly present their "Fire-Safe Fireworks" event at the Flagstaff Mall & The Marketplace. The actual show starts at approx. 9 pm. Spectators are being encouraged to bring blankets and chairs and to arrive early. There are quite a few stores in the Flagstaff Mall that will stay open past 6 pm, & most of the retailers at The Marketplace are going to stay open until 9 pm.Starting the day is the 13th Annual 4th of July Parade, a two-hour parade running through Downtown Flagstaff at 9 am.From 10 am to 4 pm, stop by the Pioneer Museum and meet historical re-enactors from Northern Arizona’s past. Civil War, Mountain men, cowboys and other pioneers, camp cooking, black smith, traditional wood crafts, local fleece and fiber crafts for sale.Join the Coconino County Board of Supervisors, St. Mary's Food Bank and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra at the Pine Mountain Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill County Park. Jennifer Hamilton, band director from Coconino High School, will conduct the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra in a concert of patriotic favorites. Gates open 5 pm, concert starts at 6 pm. Bring soft coolers, blankets, and low folding chairs.

Globe Unified School District Governing Board Meeting Tonight

The Governing Board of the Globe Unified School District will hold a regular meeting this evening at 6 pm in the Mofford Activity Center. At the meeting, there will be discussion and possible action to reassign the Superintendent and Supervisor of Facilities and to appoint temporary chief administrative officials.

Tucson Independence Day Celebration

The City of Tucson celebrates Independence Day with a fireworks display at "A" Mountain, presented with support from Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Desert Diamond Casino, Tucson Electric Power, Cox Communications, Arizona Builder's Alliance, and local other supporters. You can view the display from TCC or from the tops of U of A garages. The fireworks are scheduled for approx. 9 pm.

Kiwanis 58th Annual Fireworks Spectacular

The Kiwanis 58th Annual Fireworks Spectacular is a presentation of the finest fireworks show in the Valley and they are shot from Mill Avenue bridge. The spectacular family night Fireworks Show will be choreographed to patriotic and classical music. The day's events run from 4 pm to 11 pm at the Tempe Beach Park at 80 W. Rio Salado Parkway.

19th Annual 'Fire Over the Water'

Marvel as the fireworks glisten off the lake at Lyman Lake State Park on July 4th. And, you don't want to miss the rubber duck race. So escape the heat and head over to Lyman Lake State Park for their 19th Annual 'Fire Over the Water.' Because parking is limited, it's being advised to carpool to the lake. Lyman Lake State Park is located near St. Johns.

Chandler 4th of July 7UP Fireworks Spectacular

The Chandler 4th of July 7UP Fireworks Spectacular begins at 4 p.m., with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at Chandler’s Tumbleweed Park on July 4th. Admission to the park is free, and on-site event parking is $5 per vehicle. Tumbleweed Park is on the southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads.The events at Tumbleweed Park include live music, a free kids carnival, a bike parade, and food and beverage vendors. Activities include a 35-foot water slide, 24-foot rock-climbing wall, dunk tank, and assorted water games and interactive amusements for kids. The live music will include performances by Plastic Gladys at 6:30 pm, and Panhead Ronnie at 8:30 pm.The Cactus Bike Push, Pull, Peddle Bike Parade will be at 6 pm, with each registrant receiving a free gift. The participant with the bike that is decorated best will win a Harro children’s bike. Goodyear 4th Annual Star Spangled 4th

From 6 pm to 10 pm at the Goodyear Ballpark (1933 S. Ballpark Way in Goodyear) is a full evening of events on July 4th. They'll have a Kid's Zone with water rides and bouncers (Unlimited Ride wristbands $10 or 5 rides for $5), live music from Capt'n Henry & the Rum Runners and Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns, an F-16 flyover, & of course the APS Fireworks Spectacular (a 25 minute show set to popular and patriotic music).There will be free parking around the Ballpark & if you park at Desert Edge High School, you can ride a free shuttle over to the Goodyear Ballpark.Also, the Goodyear Pool will be hosting a Family Fun Night at the Pool from noon until 6 pm on July 4th. Admission is $2 per person, children under 3 are free.
