Time is Running Out In Pinal County to Register to Vote in Presidential Primary

If you are not a registered voter & interested in voting in upcoming Presidential Preference Election (PPE), you have until Jan. 7th, to register to vote. County Recorder Laura Dean-Lytle said that only Republicans and Democrats can participate in the upcoming PPE which will be held on Feb. 5th.

With the vast number of candidates looking to be the next President of the United States, the County Recorder thinks there will be more interest than usual for the 2008 PPE. The Voter Registration Dept. has already been busy mailing out new voter identification cards to the people who are registered in Pinal County. The County Recorder expects business to pick up substantially in the upcoming year.

To register to vote or to change your registration you can do the following:

· Visit any government office to pick up a voting registration form.
· Call the Voter Registration Dept. at 520-866-6850 & request a form be mailed to you.
