NHRA's John Force Injured

Kenny Bernstein had crossed into Force's lane as they crossed the finish line during today's race. Force has a broken left ankle and left wrist while suffering a severe abrasion to his right knee. This is a better prognosis than previously thought. Force was alert when he was airlifted to Baylor University Medical Center & was concerned more about Bernstein than his own injuries. Force is expected to undergo surgery tonight to clean the abrasions and set his broken bones.
