The City of Scottsdale now has hospital number three. Today marks the opening of, Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak at 7400 E. Thompson Peak Parkway. The cost of this new facility came to about $98 million dollars. Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak will serve residents of northeast Phoenix, north Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, Rio Verde & Anthem.

• Family-friendly ER with 12 private rooms & 4 observation beds
• 56 telemetry-capable inpatient beds
• 8-bed ICU
• 6 operating rooms
• 2 interventional labs
• General surgery, internal medicine (including cardiology & gastroenterology), orthopedics, ear, nose and throat, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, hand surgery
• Full radiology &d cardiology diagnostic services
• Arizona’s first Ambient Experience MRI & CT suites
