On May 17th, there is a special Gila County SOS Fundraising Shoot at the Globe-Miami Gun Club's Range on Bixby Road to help raise funds for supplies to mail our troops. This event is open to the public and starts at 8 am & will go on until no one wants to shoot anymore. The events include accuracy and fun events for Rifles and Handguns, Trapshooting for Shotguns. Special events are planned to include a chance to shoot machine guns and sub-machine guns, a 50bmg caliber rifle, & one event for military configured firearms. These special events and costs will be announced on the day of the shoot. A picnic lunch will be provided for participants. All proceeds from this event will be used to gather supplies for care packages for our brave men and women serving our country in the various military services.
The Globe-Miami Gun Club is donating the use of their range, event targets, & will provide safety officers for this event.
