Broadway Road In Mesa Is Closed Today Due To A Water Main Break

The City of Mesa is reporting that, Eastbound Broadway Road from Solomon (East of Horne) to Stapley Drive is closed due to a water main break & the resulting street damage. Westbound traffic should not be affected. City crews are working to control the break & assess the damage to the water main. Once complete, they'll be able to assess the degree of damage to the street, which appears initially to be significant. It is anticipated that Broadway Road will remain closed throughout the day & into the evening rush hour. Commuters should choose an alternate route to avoid traffic delays & detours.
