During the recent annual Summits for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, Judges and Car Seat Technicians, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety recognized 24 individuals and groups for their dedication and hard work in helping reduce traffic-related fatalities and injuries.
“The group of awardees we recognized is just a small sample of a lot of hard work from many dedicated people and groups in Arizona that are involved in helping make our roadways safer in Arizona, which is evident in the 17% reduction in fatalities last year,” GOHS Director Richard Fimbres said.
More than 500 people from numerous fields in traffic-safety, law enforcement and judicial services attended the conferences in Flagstaff from July 21st - 25th. During a mid-week awards luncheon, the following people and groups were honored:
