First Congressional District candidate Howard Shanker announced today that the Shanker campaign is opening its campaign headquarters this week in Prescott Valley, Arizona at 6616 East Second Street, facing Route 69. The office will be open Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, & on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. There will also be an evening phone bank scheduled several nights a week.
There will be an open house in the new office this Saturday, August 9th, from 11 am to 6 pm. Shanker will be there in the afternoon to thank supporters and refreshments will be served throughout the day. The public is invited to visit and learn about volunteer opportunities. Additionally, Shanker’s regional field coordinators, Jason McDonald and Andrew Adamski, will be on hand to meet voters.
McDonald, a native of Camp Verde, said that the Prescott Valley office marked an important point in the campaign. “The Shanker campaign has incredible grassroots support. This new office is run entirely by volunteers. Shanker for Congress is about the people of Arizona, and that’s never been more clear than it is today, with this office opening its doors.”
Kathy Thompson, Prescott Valley resident and a volunteer who is managing the new office, said, “There’s so much momentum for Shanker here in the quad-cities area. This is the first Congressional campaign headquarters I can remember opening in Prescott Valley.”
