Interstate 40 Reopens Between Flagstaff and Winslow

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has reopened Interstate 40 between Flagstaff and Winslow after being closed for several hours. The highway was closed earlier today due to high winds, blowing dust and limited visibility.The Arizona Department of Public Safety will lead traffic through the area at reduced speeds until the wind subsides.Drivers can get the latest information about highway restrictions via ADOT’s Travel Information site or by calling 5-1-1.
