Globe-Miami Chamber Membership Luncheon

The chamber membership luncheon is Aug. 23rd at the Cobre Valley Country Club at noon. The cost of the luncheon is $11 a person & you need to RSVP by Aug 20th, by calling 425-4495. The topic is the proposed half-cent sales tax to fund continuing operation & maintenance of the jails. You'll hear from County Manager Steve Besich & Sheriff John Armer about this issue & a few other items relating to the jail facilities.
