Globe Fire Dept. Blood Drive

The Globe Fire Department has a Blood Drive scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, from 10 am to 3 pm. Right now they are low on O+ & O- types. The blood you donate goes to the Cobre Valley Community Hospital here in Globe. To donate you must be at least 17 years old (with parental permission), weigh at least 110 lbs, have not donated in the past 8 weeks, are healthy, and are not taking antibiotics the day you donate, & tattoos must be a year old. All donors are entered in a raffle for a 2008 Saturn car of their choice. Contact Al Gameros, Fire Chief at (928) 425-4432 to make an appointment.
