Philip Schneider, MS, FASHP, director of administrative & professional affairs at The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, received the 2008 Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists on June 10th.
Schneider, an international leader in advancing health-system pharmacy who is responsible for implementing College of Pharmacy programs at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, is noted for creating progressive, contemporary pharmacy practice & is considered an expert in medication use safety.
The Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award was established in 1950 & named for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ first president.
