Miami Library Closing Early Due To Extreme Heat

The Miami Library closed at 2 pm yesterday due to extreme heat in the building. They will be open today, June 19th, from 9 am - 2 pm. They will be closed on June 20th, for mandatory training. On Saturday, June 21st, they will be open from 9 am until 1 pm. The Town of Miami has hired an electrician to wire the four swamp coolers that have been installed to cool the building. The work will be completed on either June 24th or 25th. Until the work is finished, the library will continue to operate in shortened hours. They do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
