On Feb. 14th, at 8 am, the National Basketball Players Association, St. Vincent de Paul, & Feed The Children are teaming up to deliver three semi tractor-trailers of food items in conjunction with the NBA All Star Game. Distribution will begin 2 pm at Society of St. Vincent de Paul (420 West Watkins Road). No NBA players will be in attendance.
This will mark the Fourth Annual National Basketball Players Association and Feed The Children All-Star food distribution.
Feed The Children partner agency Society of St. Vincent de Paul pre-identified the 1,200 families who will each receive a box of food items.
"The commitment of NBA players to their communities has helped to feed thousands of people in need, and provides a great example of how public-private partnership can make a difference in our communities,” said Larry Jones, founder and president of Feed The Children. “We are proud to partner with the NBPA to deliver the promise of the holiday season for so many children and families.”
