The Arizona Museum of Natural History, 53 N. Macdonald in Mesa, is hosting its annual All Scout Day on Saturday, Feb. 21st, from 10 am to 1 pm.
The event will provide scouts an opportunity to create their own space aliens and a space traveling Flat Stanley, based on the popular book about Stanley, a child who becomes flat and is able to travel in an envelope to incredible places. Scouts will also get the chance to learn about the size of the planets and the distances between them.
All Scout Day is not related to any badge. It is an opportunity to see the new Mars! exhibition, participate in fun activities and give scouts a better understanding of the red planet.
Museum members pay $2 per person while nonmembers, ages 3 and up, pay $6 per person. Please call (480) 644-3553 to RSVP for the program.
