People First will host a community wide meeting on Jan. 7th. This gathering will take place at 6 pm at the People First Headquarters in Gilson Wash. The meeting agenda is as follows:
1. Organization Update (incorporation status, budget, etc.)
2. Recall Initiative Update & comments from attorneys & BIA
3. New Business:
· Tribal Council’s refusal to respond to the 2nd set of questions posed by People First.
· Citizen call for an Independent financial audit of the Tribal Administration budget
· Legal options relating to the financial review of the San Carlos Apache Tribe
4. People First Community Newsletter
5. Free Community Leadership Training Schedule
6. Tribal Council Meeting Preparation:
· Resolutions for presentation to the Tribal Council
7. Comments/Suggestions
