Casa Grande's Rosa Bruce Elected As President of the National Rural Housing Coalition

Rosa Bruce, Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization Manager for the City of Casa Grande was recently elected President of the National Rural Housing Coalition, based in Washington D.C.

The National Rural Housing Coalition (NRHC) works to focus policy makers on the needs of Rural Areas by direct advocacy and by coordinating a network of rural housing advocates around the Nation. NRHC develops specific policies and legislative proposals to improve programs and funding levels to better serve Rural America in the areas of Housing and Community Facilities as well as Community Assistance Programs administered by non-profits.

Ms. Bruce has been an avid housing advocate for many years; she has also served as a Presidential appointee to the President’s “Strengthening America’s Communities Committee” led by the US Dept. of Commerce, The Arizona Governor’s Housing Commission, and the Arizona Attorney General’s Fair Housing Committee among others.
