"Fire-Safe Fireworks" In Flagstaff
You can beat the heat on July 4th, by heading up to Flagstaff as they proudly present their "Fire-Safe Fireworks" event at the Flagstaff Mall & The Marketplace. The actual show starts at approx. 9 pm. Spectators are being encouraged to bring blankets and chairs and to arrive early. There are quite a few stores in the Flagstaff Mall that will stay open past 6 pm, & most of the retailers at The Marketplace are going to stay open until 9 pm.Starting the day is the 13th Annual 4th of July Parade, a two-hour parade running through Downtown Flagstaff at 9 am.From 10 am to 4 pm, stop by the Pioneer Museum and meet historical re-enactors from Northern Arizona’s past. Civil War, Mountain men, cowboys and other pioneers, camp cooking, black smith, traditional wood crafts, local fleece and fiber crafts for sale.Join the Coconino County Board of Supervisors, St. Mary's Food Bank and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra at the Pine Mountain Amphitheater at Fort Tuthill County Park. Jennifer Hamilton, band director from Coconino High School, will conduct the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra in a concert of patriotic favorites. Gates open 5 pm, concert starts at 6 pm. Bring soft coolers, blankets, and low folding chairs.
