Casa Grande Man Arrested In Connection To Remains Found In Two Drums

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office arrested and booked 56-year-old Ramon "Ray" Duran on Jan. 30th, on two counts each of first-degee murder and unlawful disposal of human remains. The human remains were found in two 55-gallon sealed drums in a desert area north of Arizona City in December of 2008. An autopsy determined that both victims had been shot.

The remains belong to two people that were reported missing in 2007. One of those founds was the remains of Arizona City resident, James Emede. The other drum contained the body of Arizona City resident, Sandra Dickey, also known as Sandra Starns. The victims were reported to have been in a relationship at the time of their murder.
