The Pinal County Democrats are hosting a major picnic event on April 5th, to bring Democrats together & introduce several candidates for office.
The picnic will feature a special guest & is from noon to 4 pm at Heritage Park, at 600 N. Main in Florence. The $15 admission fee includes a picnic meal, live music, raffles, games for all ages, & an opportunity to socialize with Democratic voters & candidates. The event is free for children under 10.
Joe Robison, chairman of the Pinal County Democratic Party, said the picnic's official theme this year is "Out the Gate in 2008." Robison added: "This is an event for Democrats across Pinal County. Enthusiasm among Democrats is higher than ever. Pinal County will play a key role in the 2008 election, just as we did in 2006."
The Party's last picnic was held at the Pinal County Fairgrounds & attracted almost 400 people. Organizers expect this year's event to draw an even larger crowd.
