Once a month the Gila County Helth Department offers a "Well Baby Clinic" for the children of Gila County. It's designed for children from newborn through 24 months of age. The clinic is FREE for all children. This program is a great opportunity for those families who do not have insurance, cannot afford their insurance's co-pay, or those with a child that do not have a regular physician.
The clinic helps to promote wellness by providing immunizations & a physician who examines the child. Visits are scheduled at 2, 4, 6, 12, & 15 - 18 months of age. Parents can obtain information regarding their child's growth and development, as well as discuss any concerns they may have regarding their child with the medical staff.
