The Arizona Veteran's Service Advisory Commission invites all veterans, veteran service organizations & members of the community to a town hall meeting on Saturday, April 12th, at 10 am. It will be held at the American Legion Post #30 at 825 E. Main in Springerville.
The nine-member Commission, appointed by the Governor, is dedicated to serving the past & present military service personnel in Arizona. To accomplish this, the state has been divided into 4 regions with 2 Commissioners representing each region.
In a continuing effort to unify and represent Arizona veterans, the Commission is conducting the meeting in its Region 2, consisting of Apache, Coconino, Gila & Navajo Counties & represented by Commissioners Webb Ellis & Phillip Quachytewa.
The purpose of the regional meetings is to engage & educate the members of the community, local officials & veterans as to the issues as they pertain to Arizona veterans. The agenda for the meeting includes & open forum/town hall discussion after concluding the general business portion of the meeting.
