Trailer Destroyed By Fire In Miami

(March 14, 2008, Claypool, Arizona) - - The Tri-City Fire Dept. was dispatched to Railroad Avenue & Latham Blvd in Miami Friday evening at 5:55 p.m. for a reported trailer fire.

The front portion of an 8’ x 30’ trailer was fully involved upon the arrival of Tri-City’s first responding engine company. Although the fire spread rapidly firefighters limited the fire to the trailer, which was full of stored combustible materials.

The owner is unknown. Although there are no utilities, the premises was reportedly occupied on an occasional basis. The cause the blaze is undetermined but appears to be arson related and of a suspicious nature. Fire officials are continuing their investigation.

Tri-City Fire Officials are requesting that if anyone has any information related to the fire please contact the Tri-City Fire Dept. or Joe Bracamonte at Globe Fire Dept. The Globe Fire Dept. assisted Tri-City through their Automatic Aid Agreement. No personnel were injured during the blaze.
