Do you have any old debris or garbage that is littering up your house or yard? On Oct. 13th you can bring down your items to the free drop-off site, provided by the Town of Florence, located next to the Florence High School between Central Ave. & Willow St. free of charge. Items are accepted from 7 am - 1 pm only.
To drop off unwanted items, you must prove that you are a Florence resident. The easiest way to prove that you are a Florence resident is to bring along a Town of Florence utility bill or a bill stub with you on Oct. 13th. If you do not have a sanitation bill available, bring your driver’s license or alternate bill with your address listed & the town staff at the drop-off site will verify that you are a Florence resident. If you do not bring proof that you are a Florence resident, you cannot drop off any items at the site.
This is a great opportunity to clean-up your property & dispose of garbage that might be piling up or old appliances that are collecting dust.
Pinal Co. will have recycle bins available for any recyclables you want to dispose of responsibly. Pinal Co. will also accept old tires free of charge on Oct. 13th at the drop-off site.
R and B Demolition Services of Florence, Arizona is helping with the event by collecting old batteries, appliances, & scrap metal.
