The Pinal Mountain Elks # 2809 had 18 local athletes participate in the 3rd Annual Soccer Kick at Besh Ba Gowa on Oct. 14th. Thirteen kids from Globe-Miami won positions for the ELKS EAST DISTRICT soccer shoot. Junior athletes from 10 Elks Lodges in Central & Eastern Arizona will come to Globe on Oct. 28th, & compete for berths in the East District Shoot.
Registration for the EAST District Shoot out begins on the morning of Oct. 28th, at about 9 am. Coffee & refreshments will be available. Kids will need to bring proof of their age. The KICK, will be at the Globe Athletic fields (Soccer Field) on Hagen Road. Following the meet, every one is invited back to the Pinal Mountain Lodge for lunch, refreshments & the awards ceremony.
After the winners for the girls & boys divisions are announced, arrangements will be made for attending the Arizona Elks State Soccer Shoot in Tempe on Nov. 11th. If you have any questions, please call Kevin Kenney at 402-9204.
