On the evening of April 6th, personnel from the Globe PD & Globe Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of Hackney & Willow Street's in reference to a vehicle/pedestrian accident. It was determined upon arrival that Duane Flegge, 49 of Globe was struck by the truck after he walked into the roadway. Flegge was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the truck was Kenneth McManus of Tempe. McManus was not injured.
