Get Into The Holiday Spirit At Boyce Thompson

Get in the holiday spirit on Dec. 15th, at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, where Apache Junction students will perform a holiday concert live in the Picnic Area at noon, followed by a 1:30 pm guided tour where you can see genuine frankincense and myrrh (2-out-of-3 "gifts of the magi").

Daily admission of $7.50 for adults or $3 for ages 5-12 includes weekend guided tours & also the Christmas concert at noon in the Picnic area. Bring a picnic, there are plenty of tables & also charcoal grilles which Arboretum visitors are welcome to use. Fall color arrived weeks late this year, and remains glorious & camera-ready in the sycamore & pistachio trees that accent the Picnic Area & Demonstration Garden. Visitors can expect to see lovely foliage remaining in the trees while walking along the 1.5 mile long Main Trail, & docent-guided tours are offered daily at 1 pm.

The Arboretum is a close drive too, just 45-minutes drive west of Globe-Miami via highway 60, right near milepost #223 just past the historic copper-mining town of Superior.
