The campgrounds at Lake Havasu State Park is closed through mid-Jan. '08 & ramps will close sometime in early January. The Park will remain open during the construction.
The construction started in the campground area in Nov. They will also be chip sealing, restriping & installation of new cement drainage aprons at the Windsor 4 parking lot area. The chip sealing of the campground road & Windsor 4 parking lot will be finished by mid-Jan. '08. In Jan. work will begin at the dirt overflow parking lot. This area will be changed into asphalted parking spaces designed to accommodate oversize boat trailer parking.
Several small changes will be made around the park ranger station entrance area to allow boat trailers to more easily navigate the parking lot corners in the park.
