On Saturday, April 19th, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors are sponsoring a free dump day for residents.
There are 5 participating landfills this year across the County that will be happy to accept your trash or green refuse. Please be aware that these landfills will not accept commercial loads, nor will they accept the following items: tires, motor oil, paint, refrigerators or hazardous materials.
The participating landfills are:
• Apache Junction Landfill - 4050 S. Tomahawk Road, Queen Creek; Landfill hours: 6 am - 3 pm, (480) 982-7003.
• Butterfield Landfill - 40404 S. 99th Avenue, Mobile; Landfill hours: 7 am - Noon, (602) 437-3165.
• Ironwood Landfill - 12720 Highway 287, Florence; Landfill hours: 8 am - Noon, (520) 868-8778
• Dudleyville Landfill - Highway 177, Dudleyville; Landfill hours: 7 am - 4 pm, (520) 356-6181.
• Casa Grande Landfill - S. Chui Chu Road, Casa Grande; Landfill hours: 6 am - 3 pm; (480) 421-8628. (Only the residents who live within the following boundaries may use the Casa Grande Landfill: east of Midway Rd.; north of Hanna Rd.; west of Overfield Rd.; south of Millrise Rd. Please bring your driver’s license & a current utility bill to prove your residence for the Casa Grande Landfill. Residents outside those lines may use the Butterfield or Ironwood Landfill.)
