Your Campbell's Food Labels Can Help The Florence Community Library

With help from the community, the Florence Community Library can receive free books, computer programs & audio visual equipment through the Campbell's Food Labels for Education Program.

"When purchasing Campbell food products, residents can help the library acquire much needed new equipment & books," says Linda Craft, reference librarian & coordinator of the Florence Community Library's Labels for Education Program.

The library is asking residents to save Campbell's scan codes for the redemption program. "Each label code is worth 5 points & our goal is to collect as many as possible," Craft says.

Labels can be dropped off at the library. A brightly marked Campbell box is located inside the entrance. This year the program expanded to include additional Campbell products. A complete list is available at: labelsforeducation.com.

The following products are included:

* Campbell's soups.
* Campbell's Supper Bakes meal kits.
* Campbell's beans, gravies & canned pasta.
* Prego pasta sauces.
* Swanson broths & canned poultry.
* V8 vegetable juices & V8 Splash juice drinks.
* Campbell's tomato juice.
* Pepperidge Farm breads, cookies, crackers & frozen products.
* Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers.
* Campbell's Foodservice products.

"With the community's help, we can increase our collection of books, AV equipment & computer software," Craft said. "In the past, the community has been very supportive, & we're hoping they will continue."

Since Campbell's Foods started its labels for education program 30 years ago, schools & libraries nationwide have received more than $100 million in merchandise.
