Arizona State Veteran Home Has Chosen A New Assistant Administrator

Arizona State Veterans’ Services Director Joey Strickland is pleased to announce the choice of Thomas Creager to be the new Assistant Administrator for the Arizona State Veteran Home.

Creager, who holds a nursing home administrator’s license, comes to the Veteran Home after serving more than 7 years as a Licensing Team Leader/Manager in the Office of Long Term Care Licensing with the Arizona Department of Health Services. In that position, he was responsible for enforcing state & federal compliance rules for all nursing homes in the State of Arizona.

“We are really glad to have Thomas aboard”, says Director Strickland. “He comes to us with experiences and strengths that make him an invaluable immediate asset.”

Creager served 21 years in the U.S. Army & U.S. Army Reserves as a medic & physical therapist. His assignments included the Pentagon, Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii & the Defense Intelligence Agency.
