The Town of Florence Parks & Recreation is hosting its 2nd Annual "The Whole Frijole" All-Night Co-ed Softball Tournament. This is a double elimination softball tournament scheduled for April 26th, at Heritage Park. The tournament's open to the public; anyone can join in on the fun.
There is a requirement of 5 males & 5 females per team. A fee of $150 per team must be paid no later than April 18th. Registrations are accepted at the Florence Parks and Recreation Office and Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main St., Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
This competition is limited to the first 10 teams to register. Awards are provided to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams. Additionally, a male & female M.V.P award is given out. There will also be a fast man & fast female competition during the tournament, which you can register the day of for $5 per person. Rules for this competition are announced the day of the tournament.
