Governor Janet Napolitano announced today that all flags at state buildings will be flown at half staff on Thursday, July 3rd, in honor of U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Robert Hammett, 39, who died June 24th, in a bomb blast in Baghdad.
Chief Warrant Officer Hammett, of Tucson, joined the Army in 1990. He is survived by his wife and five daughters. Funeral services will be held Thursday in Tucson.
