Another Fatal Wreck On U.S. 60

A wreck on US 60, east of the Florence Junction & near Gonzales Pass, at approx. 5:30 am on Feb. 12th, that resulted in 1 death and caused 2 to be airlifted to a Valley hospital. The Arizona Department of Public Safety’s initial report has the commercial vehicle that was heading east turning in front of the pickup truck that was heading west.Around 9 am, the eastbound lane was used to alternate the traffic from both directions. The crash investigation continued to about 1 pm.
