Gila Humane Society Sponsoring Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

The Gila Humane Society is sponsoring a low cost spay/neuter clinic on Feb. 19th, 20th, 21st in the Wal-Mart parking lot. In order for our community to help reduce the number of pets that are killed at the County animal shelter we must spay/neuter as many pets as possible. There are not enough homes for all of the litters born.

This event will be offered by the Arizona Humane Society Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic. The prices will be affordable & if the pet is having surgery it can also benefit from low cost vaccinations. The mobile clinic can take up to 30 animals a day & this event will be first come - first served. The clinic will begin taking in patients at 7 am, so be early to get a place in line. Secure your cat in a carrier & your dog on a leash for it’s safety.

All pets must not have anything to eat past 9 pm the night before but should have water. Pets must be between 2 months old & 4 years old & weigh between 2 ½ pounds & 95 pounds. You will need to leave a phone number where you can be reached & will be given a time to pick up your pet the same day. You can call them Monday - Friday at 1-877-997-7585 Ext. 1004 for more detailed information.
