The search for a new Constable for the Justice of the Peace in Precinct 8 has finally come to an end. The man unanimously approved by the Pinal County Board of Supervisors to replace Constable Ralph Riley is Maricopa resident George Hoffman. Hoffman will fulfill Riley's remaining term until the upcoming general election this November.
Hoffman retired from the San Diego Police Department in August 2004. During his nearly 25 year career with the City of San Diego, Hoffman worked every position from a patrol officer to a Child Abuse Unit detective. He received three Commanding Officer Citations for his investigative work.
