On behalf of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, Chairman David Snider met with legislators to discuss the economy, budget & priorities for Pinal County on Feb. 21st. Each year, the Arizona Association of Counties (AACo) sponsors County Day at the Capitol, giving county officials a chance to meet with their senators & representatives.
Apart from growth, the County still has to ensure the public safety, provide services such as health & welfare in a more rural environment where nursing & care facilities are less prevalent. Snider was quick to point out that while building & construction activity has slowed, a number of large developments have already been approved.
Chairman Snider said he was pleased to have an opportunity to discuss Pinal County priorities with State Senator Rebecca Rios, Representative Pete Rios, Representative Manuel Alvarez, Representative Barbara McGuire, Representative Jennifer Burns & others.
