The Gila Community College has several scholarships available for students aspiring to begin or continue their education: Departmental Scholarships, Scholar Scholarships, Preferential Scholarships, & Dean’s Community Involvement Scholarships. Scholarships are available based on the following criteria:
· Fall and Spring semesters
· students maintaining full-time enrollment
· student meeting specific GPA requirements (different for each scholarship)
· other criteria specific to each scholarship
The scholarships will cover full tuition & Compass testing. Some students will also receive $300 towards the cost of books per semester. The scholarships are good for 3 additional semesters (total of 4) or graduation date, whichever comes first, meeting specific criteria as set forth for each scholarship.
