Johnny Ramsey was convicted by a jury of Aggravated Assault, a class 3 dangerous felony & Shoplifting, a class 1 misdemeanor, in the Superior Court of Arizona, Pinal Co., before the Honorable Stephen McCarville, Judge of the Superior Court. The verdict was rendered on Sept. 12th, 2007.
He's scheduled to be sentenced later this year. As part of sentence, it is anticipated that he'll be incarcerated in the Az. Dept. of Corrections for a term up to 25 years. Mr. Ramsey also has 5 prior felony convictions. The State was represented by Matthew Long, a Deputy Co. Attorney with this Office.
