Owens Presenting Check to Globe & San Carlos

Arizona Dept. of Environmental Quality Director Steve Owens will be presenting a $2,500 check to City of Globe & San Carlos Apache tribal officials for financial assistance for a project to clean up a large quantity of discarded tires on the San Carlos Apache reservation & to haul the tires to a recycling facility for proper disposal in this important project to help beautify eastern Arizona. The presentation is this Friday, Sept. 14th, at 2:30 pm at the City Council Chambers, at 150 N. Pine St. in Globe.
