In honor of 'National Public Lands Day,' the Mesa Ranger District on the Tonto National Forest will host a clean-up on Saturday, Sep. 29th.
Event registration is 7 - 8 am at the entrance to Lower Sycamore on FR 403. The clean-up begins immediately after registration & will continue until around 3 pm.
A majority of the clean-up will occur in & around the entrance to Lower Sycamore & the creek. Trash bags & drinking water will be provided. Participants are urged to wear close-toed shoes or boots that can be worn in & around heavy vegetation, as well as sun screen, hats, & gloves. Please bring your own lunch. All forest visitors are encouraged to join in the clean-up.
