Good Turnout at Range Day

Twenty-one local students & ten students from outside the area participated in a Range Day event at the Globe-Miami Gun Club, on Sept. 22nd. Activities included; .22 rifle live fire, archery, simulated big game and bird hunts, blood trail, & graduation.

This range day was the first one in the Cobre Valley area to include students from the Az. Game & Fish Dept.’s recently released Internet Class. Ten students traveled from Tucson, Scottsdale, & Colorado to complete their class that they virtually started on-line at
hunter-ed.com/az/index, the official site for Arizona's independent study hunter education course approved by the Az. Game & Fish Dept.

Taking a hunting course allows one to comply with
Arizona hunter education law & will also make one a safer & more knowledgeable hunter.

Hunter education isn't just for kids or hunters. The program's for all who enjoy the outdoors & have an interest in conservation. The course is also an excellent refresher for veteran hunters.
