CSK Making A Fiscal Move
In the coming year, Phoenix based Checker Auto Parts will be closing at least 40 stores to cut costs under the new President and Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Mondry plans for the company’s ability to better compete in the retail of aftermarket auto parts. Before the year is out, they will approx. 160 non-sales positions, that means, corporate & field administrative support. Store associates & those in key sales support positions will be unaffected by the reduction in Checker Autos workforce.
