Miami Library Having Book Sale

The Book Sale is Today, Friday & Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm each day the Friends of the Miami Library will be holding a special book sale to accommodate removal of the 35 year old carpeting that was in the booksale room when the Sept. 1st flood occurred.

These are all donated & discarded books from the Friends Book Sale Room. All books that are in the sale are dry & in good condition. The Friends will be charging $1 per grocery bag for whatever will fit in the bag. Encyclopedia sets will be priced at just $2 per set.

On Friday & Saturday, the Boy Scouts of America Troop 101 will be helping the Friends with a parking lot sale of surplus furniture, cookware, lamps, chairs, & donated miscellaneous items. All proceeds from the parking lot sales will benefit the Teens’ & Children’s rooms in the library.

The main library will remained closed during the sale. Access to the book sale will be through the front lobby & the south door in the parking lot.

The Miami Library will continue to be closed for repairs at least until Sept. 18th. Please continue to return items as they are due in the book drop at the front door of the library. If you need library service please call the Globe Library at 928-425-6111 or visit them at 339 S. Broad St. in Globe.
