Scout Day At The Arizona Museum of Natural History In Mesa On July 19th

Calling all scouts, Boys and Girls, Cubs and Brownies. Spend a fun morning at the Arizona Museum of Natural History during the annual Scout Day Saturday, July 19th, from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Scout Day is a great opportunity for scouts to learn about fascinating tree-dwelling dinosaurs with feathers, which are part of the exhibition “Feathered Dinosaurs and the Origin of Flight.” Considered to be a national treasure of China, this is the first time these dinosaurs have been on display in Arizona. Scout Day is just for fun, there is no badge attached!

Museum members are free. For non-members, it is three dollars per person, which includes museum admission. There is no prepayment but pre-registration is required. To pre-register or for more information, please call (480) 644-3553 or contact the Arizona Museum of Natural History Educational Services Coordinator Alice Jung at
